The Maloney – I mean the Mahoney – sisters want to make it on Broadway and good ol’ Eddie Kearns is gonna help them do it. Broadway is a hotbed of creeps trying to get with Queenie, but Hank will have none of that. Unfortunately, the threesome gets tangled when Eddie falls for the other sister. There’s a drunk guy aptly nicknamed “Unconscious” and The Wedding of the Painted Doll (is this really necessary?) A culmination of fast-talking showbiz banter and character cuteness really brings the whole show together. As far as the girls getting famous? It’s cream in the can, baby.
