Bugging Out

The Story of Louis Pasteur
1936 Nominee

100 Words
GERMS! They are everywhere, even on our hands! Do not take for granted, Reader, this simple fact, for before it was fact, it was theory, scoffed at by the world’s medical professionals. It took a man named Louis Pasteur to prove that vaccinations would preserve health, that cleaning instruments used to deliver babies kept mama and baby safe, and that milk could be pasteurized to keep it safe for drinking. Isn’t it such a blessing now, to have false information pedaled on the Internet that makes us question these ancient techniques of safekeeping? Am I being sarcastic?
Yes I am.

Lady Mary Wortley Montagu to the world:
    it’s
    pasteur bedtime MEN!!
Heaven forbid you learn from !!WOMEN?!! about such things…
wait decades for MEN to wake up; allow innocents to suffer, to die in the meantime, due to male false pride and arrogance even when the science pocks you in the face!
