What do you get when you two-time a two-timer? What do you do when the person two-timing you is the person who married you? Lucy and Jerry decide on divorce, but of course it will take 60 days for the law to uphold the unfolding of their marriage. In the meantime, Lucy takes up with Dan, insisting that she can get over Jerry although they share custody of Mr. Smith. Jerry keeps showing up when Lucy least expects him, sees Mr. Smith and pets him, and is reminded by the dog to hold onto his hat…and maybe his wife, too.

    As is often the case, your ‘alt title’ is much better. Who ever thought this title was going to draw viewers? In the future when I hear someone say, ‘Hollywood doesn’t make ’em like the used to’ I’ll remind them of this title and see what they say then.
