Sometimes a beautiful love story falls right out of the sky. The chemistry between the two leading hotties isn’t super hot, but those planes catch fire quick! A parachute or umbrella does the trick in a pinch. Gunner is gunning for Jim to quit the test pilot game for the sake of his stunner dame, Ann. Is it Thursday? My goodness it is, but isn’t it strange to see her without William Powell in tow? Although, Clark Gable shines in this role because his character’s apple may not fall far from the Gable tree. The flight scenes are incredible too.
