A young doctor falls in love with a spirited woman he works with after glimpsing her several times beforehand. It’s a love so hot it makes the snow melt and almost makes you forget that we’re romanticizing cheating on your perfectly nice, capable wife with a nurse. ALMOST.

Perhaps the point is that these two are doomed from the offset. Obi Wan is looking for a father – not Luke Skywalker’s (that’s not until 1977) – but the one whose parents were the two homewreckers I already mentioned. It is a truly beautiful story about a cheating poet.

Adultery for the win.
