Before I emulate on the heartwarming story about a boy’s relationship with his father, I do have to highlight some confusion here: The movie is named after the dog. The dog is in about ten minutes of the movie. I hate when this happens! So many of these titles don’t deliver on their promise and then I am left, as a viewer, struggling to understand why the title was chosen. I do know this was based on a book and perhaps the dog’s role in that is more of a featuring one. Dogs are nice.

Anyway, black lives still matter.
