A racket is a fraudulent scheme, enterprise, or activity and indeed, Scarsi (not Scarface) is up to no good with barrels of booze. Set during prohibition, the bad guys get drunk while McQuigg broods. Reporters and Scarsi are on McQuigg’s case and the story they want is the result of the chase. A broad named Helen gets Scarsi’s brother, Joe to give her a ring he calls a warm that glows. Helen turns out to be dynamite, but not before Scarsi and McQuigg put up a fight. Please note the picture of Scarsi on McQuigg’s desk – facing toward the camera.
