North by Mae West

She Done Him Wrong
1932 Nominee

100 Words
Would you believe this blonde dame gets credit for discovering Cary Grant? That’s one of the tall, dark, handsome fellas in this absolutely pre-code, tantalizing tale. The blonde bombshell herself swaggers through the saloon she owns with her husband, but what’s love go to do with it? This is business, baby, and in the Gay Nineties, where legs are confidential, shady dealings have to be kept very hush. An ex, a mission next-door, and a pair of plotting fixer-uppers all conspire to blow the lid off the joint, but not before a fellow or two falls under Lady Lou’s spell.

Can’t imagine anyone writing 100 words about this (and West) in a more clever, stylish way. Your alternate title is PERFECT!
