Mr. Smith Gives a Dam

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
1939 Nominee

100 Words
Mr. Jefferson Smith ventures to the nation’s capital, appointed to the senate after a group of boys endorse him. A fantastic voyage of sorts, Jeff dictates a new bill to the reluctant Clarissa Saunders, who soon remembers why she got into politics when she witnesses the new appointee’s esteem for justice. Meandering through the corruption, Jeff sets his sights on hat-dropping Susan Paine and endures the pain that comes with dishonesty in government. A hubbub about a boys’ club and the ownership of a dam challenges whether Jeff and the Senate give a damn about how the country is run.

Clearly a fantasy flick; corruption in U.S. politics…nah.
Movie is ‘rigged’ in at least 34 ways and spread by the deep state bigly.
