Wilson
1944 Nominee
100 Words
The president of the United States during the onset of World War I was a Princeton man with three daughters. Compared multiple times in the film to Abraham Lincoln, would you know, I hardly knew Woodrow Wilson prior to this film as much as I knew his comparison.
On the cusp of vying for his second term, Woodrow became enmeshed in some gossip surrounding a new woman in his life following the passing of his first wife. Eloquent of speech, and of sound mind, it was easy to see why the man earned a second turn in the Oval Office.
