Dull Blade

The Razor’s Edge
1946 Nominee

100 Words
Larry loves the idea of looking elsewhere, but Isabel loves Larry and Gray loves Isabel and Sophie loves to drink. High-class social life never attracted me, so this film seems a bit dull given its contenders are contending with existentialism. Isabel is insufferable and Larry always has a frown on his face with the stagnant character development to match. Who am I rooting for here, surely not these two? Sophie is the most authentic and could be likeable if there was more of her. Gray also seems likeable and lacks appearances. Plus, the narrator might actually be a total creep.
