This movie was made in 1948?! You could have fooled me, and fool me again, you may. It’s incredible. The dancing scenes are exquisite – full body shots of people actually trained in the craft. The music is perfection. The acting is theatrical, yet superb and THERE IS A 15-MINUTE FULL BALLET IN THE MIDDLE. Readers, at least watch that part. You’ll get your money’s worth.
