Evil Woman

All about Eve
1950 Best Picture

100 Words
An unassuming, mousy woman lightly stalks a powerhouse actress until she has seamlessly ingratiated herself into the famous woman’s life. As Margo Channing gets a whiff of the malodorous intent perfuming little Eve, it only takes a tasteless news item before Karen, Margo’s best friend, is on Margo’s side for good.
As Eve fights her way to the top without regard for the women around her, one can’t help but wonder how much more powerful us gals would be if we supported each other instead of trying to outdo each other in these competitions created only in our own heads.

My thoughts entirely… Same feelings as I watched The Favorite (Coleman, Stone, Wiesz)… how dark and sad….
