Poor George. He’s madly in love with Angela (no relation). Who wouldn’t be? She’s gorgeous and she’s got the best of everything, so maybe if George gets to be with Angela, then George is the best of the best, by association.
There’s just one small problem. And one larger problem carrying the smaller problem to term because ONLY in the 50s, abortion was out of the question!
It’s a bit problematic that the sympathetic character in this one is a gold digger (he’s cute, but he’s cutthroat). It’s even more problematic that this movie is based on a true story.
