It’s a bit like Robin Hood with a dollop of Monty Python.

Ivanhoe is determined to collect the ransom to free the true King from his prison in Austria; to do this, he enters a tournament (sound familiar?) Meanwhile, he has his choice of two beautiful women; one of them is a proper lady and one of them is a sorceress (she also happens to be Elizabeth Taylor).

The outfits and the color clash enough to remind one of a certain restaurant that involves eating food without utensils while watching knights battle, especially the last ten minutes of the movie.
