Separate Tables
1958 Nominee
100 Words
Everyone in this hotel is a little bit of a weirdo. There’s the Major, who’s been accused of…nudging women? Is that really all? That’s weird. There’s a grown lady who wears barrettes and can’t stand up to her own mother. She’s weird. There’s a horndog alcoholic who is trying to run off with one of the hotel personnel, but he’s also being seduced by his narcissistic ex-wife and all three of them are weird.
One can only imagine that with a character calling himself Major and another with the name Sybil that John Cleese must have filed this film away.
