Bud is everyone’s best bud because he is willing to use his apartment as a pseudo-brothel for his co-workers and not their wives. It’s a little weird. It’s a lot unsanitary. Bud uses this to his advantage so he can climb the corporate ladder, but sometimes has to suffer colds outside in the even colder cold.

The elevator operator falls victim to one of the sleazy higher-ups and then Bud, struggling to maintain his own reputation in his own residence, comes to the rescue. Maybe a healthier romance under the right roof can bud and then bloom, if there’s room.
