The alternate title refers to one of the beaches – some of the soldiers ended up at the wrong location – and also refers to an answer I came up with as a kid while my Dad was doing a crossword puzzle and couldn’t remember the name of the D-day beach. I said “Omaha,” as a joke because all I could think of was Nebraska and my Dad’s eyes widened when he realized I was a genius. I am not a genius, Dad, just an amateur comedienne.

Anyway, this is an ensemble piece with brilliant glimmers of acting, but too many Nazis.
