What’s the alternate title all about? Alfie? No. It’s a helpful little rhyme to remember the fates of all six of King Henry VIII’s wives – AND ISN’T THAT JUST SO AMUSING. This is the syphilitic (look it up) King of today’s post and boy, was he the weirdest of them all.
This film is about one of his subjects, a lawyer by the name of Thomas More, and he was portrayed so beautifully that this actor beat the likes of Arkin, Burton, McCaine and McQueen (a little harder to make a rhyme out of that one).
Once again, NO KINGS.
