It’s not easy growing up poor; sweet Bonnie sure gets her feet swept out from under her by Clyde faster than anyone with any sense could run and hide.

Based on a true story, it’s a shameless look at how kids get mixed up with each other and the consequences of a toxic cocktail of chemistry that leads certain groups of folks to make really bad decisions when they all put their heads together.

Whether it’s the sheer luminosity of Warren Beatty’s teeth or just about anything Faye Dunaway does at all, it’s awfully hard…to look away from this one.

    Thousands of citizens attended the funerals for the two depressions-era murderers;

    that’s worth a movie in itself.

    There was a movie that ‘explains’ a bit anyway – ordinary peoples’ love of these two hardened, sadistic killers: The Highwaymen (Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson). Common folk had ‘nothing’ thanks to rich people, banks, etc. Bonnie and Clyde were seen as almost Robin Hoods.

      …baffling… Robin Hood tag to so many others: dillinger, James boys, capone, etc, ad nauseam… speaking of nauseous… and the jackass we’re stuck w/ now…

      just baffling how good people can ignore or rationalize away murder

        Robin Hood false tags are better than the ‘Christ Reborn’ tags. Look what many good people rationalize when jackasses hold up a Bible.
