If it weren’t for Christopher, I’m not sure this movie would be popular.

I don’t know why this movie is THE BEST. It isn’t. There’s a wedding for a full hour and I think it’s supposed to be like The Godfather, but it just feels eternal. Then all of a sudden all three men are in Vietnam together. One of them immediately goes nuts and another gets obsessed with Russian Roulette and one of them is Robert De Niro, which should be compelling enough, but it isn’t. And Meryl Streep is there, which should be compelling enough, but it isn’t.
