One of those winners I’d only ever heard of and though its light dims in the hulking shadow of that film geek go-to Citizen Kane, this one is worth the investment. In the belly of a Welsh mine work several of the Morgans – brothers and father alike. Their tight-knit family is divided by its opinions on the prospect of the formation of a labor union. The littlest Morgan lad recalls his childhood, the love between his older sister and the preacher, the time he and his mother fell through the ice, boxing matches at school, but most importantly his father.
